I bought an RCA VR 5220 last month, and i couldn't be happier. I use for choir practice. I have the pianist play my part, then I can practice on my own. The piano comes out slightly tinny, but everything else is fine. I also use it to record performances, because when you are in the performance, you can never hear the whole choir. It records well from 50 feet away.

Sorry it's taken so long to comment on Sean Buchanan's inspiring story on becoming the first certified African American teacher in Mountain View Gotebo history. I am so glad that you had the courage to tell your story. This is a positive step towards over coming ignorance and intollerance. Your success will inspire others to apply for positions in the district and also encourage other African American's in your family and community to further their education.

I neglected to mention the storytelling elements that we employ in our group learning approach.

Storytelling is not new and the most sophisticated use of storytelling comes from the Middle East and Africa.

BING Oshun Neuropersona Marie Louis Van Franz Scneario to or Google Wordpress Scenario2 Oshun or go to http://personati.wordpress.com and follow the story links that appeal to you.

Cheers,
Nick

1:1 learning is death.

In an learning group the learners know more than the instructor and facilitation of learning from different experience or capacity perspectives is the best that the instructor can achieve.

1:1 is a waste of learner potential and specifically the potential to broker expertise between learners.

One other interesting thing that facilitators will observe when they employ a learner brokerage approach is that the learners CREATE content as they learn.

Indeed the most practical sign of success is that NEW content or content created during learning is more valueable than the content delivered to and consumed by learners.

BING Neuropersona Accelerated Learning Brokerage or go to http://www.scenario2.com for a description of the technique applied to small groups of adult learners. The technique is easily applied to younger learners.

Cheers,
Nick

Top row, 4th position -- either background

Really think this logo depicts what Storychasers is/wants to be.
I like it much better than all the rest!
